About Us

We began breeding dogs in about 2008.  Time flies! What started out as a hobby has turned into a full time job for me.  I left my career as a teacher and speech therapist to focus entirely on raising  the perfect family dog.  Temperament, health, DNA, and confirmation direct every breeding choice we make.  The joy that our puppies bring into people's lives is undescribable!! Our pups have become service dogs, emotional support dogs, and companions for people with mobility issues, hearing impairments, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and more.  Our puppies are always raised inside our home with our family.  They are kept clean, fed very well, and have regular vet checks.  

Most of our puppies are sold by referral.  A person sees one of our pups at a park, farmers market, store and asks the person where they got their pup.  The next thing you know everyone in their circle of friends has a Pure Joy Puppy!! Also many of our families will adopt a second or third pup from us.  I love that!  Our puppies truly are our BEST advertisement! 

We do post on Facebook, although not a lot.  I need to get more into social media! But I'm pretty old school and don't use it like most of the world does today.
